Maybe he can call in 'sick'

Honestly though, that is completely crazy. I don't know if they can do that. Is he a FT worker with benefits? With paid time off?

FH has a similar problem. His vacation time is limited, so due to travel restrictions he has to work the week after we get married until we leave for HM.

I told him that I am not dragging my arse out of bed the day after the wedding to drive from East Wind back to Hauppauge to he can be at work at 9 AM. He has to tell them he will be late, or take the day unpaid.

I am in the same boat. My husband couldn't get off for our honeymoon either. He works for UPS so the senior guys get to pick their week first then they get to pick what's left. So we aren't going on our honeymoon until mid August.
So I understand your plight.

omg!!! I feel soo bad for you! I would be freaking out and telling him to look for a new job.

I'm soooooo sorry that they are doing this to the both of you! We were afraid they would do this to FH but they are actually even thinking of doing a light work day on our wedding day so that everyone else can enjoy too lol. Good luck!!!!!!

He must work for Inetech, 'Um, Kay- we're gonna need you to go ahead and come in Saturday and Sunday. It's not a half day. um, Kay you can't have off for your wedding because you need to send you TPS report'
