Ready to choke people out...

How do you cancel 3 days before the wedding via Facebook...and you're a relative...and your excuse is weak (I'm not even gonna get into it )

I'm taking my final numbers to JT TODAY and paying for 4 additional centerpieces TODAY! Now that table has only 5 people and will look really sad. I have to rearrange the table chart now to fill it in...I'm ok with not changing the escort cards etc (already printed) but FH is anal as this was his DIY project and it has to be perfect Is he REALLY gonna open this 250 sheet pack of cardstock (that I was hoping to return today for a refund) just to print one escort card over...YES!



Now I'm gonna drop my number even more to account for even more deadbeats and disrespects who'll pull this even closer to the wedding.

I so feel your pain. We are 5 away from our minimum and I will smack someone if they 'forget' to show up.

Good think is that we are waaaaaay above our minimum, so I'm not worried about losing money...actually, we should be getting a refund of around $250 now. It's just annoying because I'm ready to pay for the 4 additional centerpieces (after selling my body to the night to find the cash with 3 days left ) and now I'm considering spreading those 5 remaining people out to other tables and save the $90 on one centerpiece. But idk if they'd mesh well with others at the tables the can fit at.

The messed up part is that she's planning something really important as well that's taking place in the next month and it depends on rsvps etc (been posting on fb about ppl not being respectful with rsvps etc) and then you do this? Oh...and mentioned budgetary constraints which I take to mean we aint gettin no gifts

People just don't get it! We had DH's aunt cancel on us about 3 days after we dropped everything off. She didn't even tell us, she told my MIL. Not even a phone call. She tells my MIL that she isn't sure if she'll be there but her husband def won't with some lame excuse! THEN a couple days later, after screaming and yelling about it and fixing all our seating charts and everything she calls my MIL again (still not us) and says they are both coming! BACK TO JT! I sent DH and I REFUSED to have anything more to do with it. Like it's a family BBQ or something And we never even got an apology!

Our BM and his wife got into a fight over the Bachelor Party. NOTHING HAPPENED! She's just a little out there and overreacted. She wanted a divorce and told us she wasn't coming to the wedding anymore. THEN 2 weeks later she text me telling me she's coming now and doesn't want to miss it. AT least she apologized! But once again treating it like a family BBQ!

Just know that in a couple of days it will all be over, you'll be married and the important people will be there.

I had family members that rsvp'd yes and didn't show up and because certain family members didn't show up friends of those family members didn't show up. Some people couldn't even find their escort cards because some ended up stuck together when JT put them out. Just before our entrance I told the maitr'd to just let people sit where they want.

Don't worry about who doesn't show up. Just enjoy your entire reception. I didn't even think about the ones that didn't show up. I just enjoyed every minute of the night and danced, danced, danced all night long.

Thanks ladies! I'm not even pressed that she's not coming because there's really no major attachment there and I'll be getting some money back...but she knew about her upcoming situation MONTHS ago...even before I sent out invites. I just hate having to go back and do something I thought I was done with. I wanna relax these next three days

I can't believe how rude people can be, although this week I am beginning to learn the hard way.(As my wedding is getting closer)
I am so sorry that you are being aggravated with this nonsense. Why do they think that this is OK?
