READY TO UNINVITE SOMEONE

READY TO UNINVITE SOMEONE

so two of our friends from college was not invited with a date... bc one doesn't have a girlfriend and we've never even met the other ones girlfriend so we have no idea how serious they are. both responded saying they are bringing guests but one just writes 2 and doesn't give a name for his date. i didn't say anything bc we're under the number of people we were expecting anyway so it doesn't really matter, but it's the principal of it. so fast forward to a few weeks ago - the one with a girlfriend is now engaged. yay, so happy for you. now it's fine that you bring a date. i text the other one asking for his dates name - no response. text him two more times over the past few weeks - no response. so i text him yesterday and say i'm doing the seating charts and place cards, i need to know your dates name. no more saying please, no more being nice - just give me her fing name! so he responds. lindsay. REALLY???? what's her last name? NO RESPONSE. dipshit.

so on his place card i'm writing...

Mr. Jonathan Smith and Lindsay

That's what I'd do...you're nicer than I am. Someone didn't get back to me in time so they got 'and Guest' on their escort card

I am so putting and guest!! If they are dumb enough to leave out the name that is not my problem!

I got TONS of response cards back 'and guest' or even just 2, w/o a name.

Is it wrong to just write the and guest on the placecard?? I don't feel like calling all of these people to find out their guests!

If its wrong then I don't care enough to be right.

I sent people emails to ask their guests' name...if they didn't get back to me they got 'and guest'...I'm not chasing people down here.
