Where does everyone go to buy a real tree? I want to get one this year. Home depot or a garden center? Also, do you have to let it sit before you decorate it?

Re: Real Christmas Trees
When you pt it in the stand you should let it 'fall' for 24 hours
We always get ours at Franks

Re: Real Christmas Trees
Walsh Nurseries in Dix Hills at the corner of the South Service Road of the Long Island Expressway and Deer Park Avenue. Their trees last incredibly long!! Plus, they always seem to have a nice variety of sizes and shapes .. even for last minute shoppers .. like we were last year!
