Real estate lawyer in Wantagh area

We are in the process of buying a house (our offer was accepted and inspection was done last weekend). The real estate (seller's) agent that showed us the house recommended us the attorney, and attorney name appears on the offer paperwork.

I am not comfortable with retaining a lawyer on realtor's recommendation to begin with, but then we had an appointment to meet with him tonight and he has just cancelled this morning and rescheduled for tomorrow. Hope we still would be able to change the lawyer at this point.

Could you please recommend an attorney, preferably someone you or your friends have dealt with when buying a house?

we used robert saldarelli and he was excellent by far the best part of the home buying process for us. he was great!!!!!!!!!

We used a girlfriend of mine from Law school and she was very thorough and she's also a pit bull if she needs to be so it's good for negotiations down the line, if any issues come up. The name of the firm is Sapienza and Frank and her name is Christina Cattaneo. I highly recommend her and you can tell her Kristen Clodfelter referred you. The number is 516-798-1043. Good luck

I should add that I agree with your instinct about not necessarily taking the attorney that the realtor likes. Same thing goes with Engineers. The realtors tend to sigh and go oh when you tell them the name of a very thorough engineer because it may undermine their sale.

and definitely not the one that the seller's agent recommends!
