I know that something like this was recently posted but I can't find it!! I need websites that have listings of real estate on LI. i know about realtor. com and mls. Any others out there? We want to start the process next month so hopefully we can move out of this apt. soon after the wedding! Thanks in advance.
Be careful with yhd - I saw a report on the news last week about them not telling the whole truth about their listings re: sizes, etc.

Re: Real Estate Websites?
I saw that too. They lie about the square footage in apartments. They exaggerate it by 50-150 square feet. When it comes to houses though I think it is pretty tough to lie about that bc people come to check out the actual proerty size if you really want to buy the house. But you may not feel comfortable doing business with an untrusty company.
I have been looking in Suffolk a lot and many of the houses are going through YHD. The comission is only 2% whereas other real estates charge about 5%. You can also do a virtual tour on many of their houses on their website.
