Don't mean to butt-in but this sugar flower is a peony..

I love to discuss anything cake related since I'm pastry chef Lol so don't mind me.

peony have a very strong smell and are always covered in ants when in bloom, not sure if you would want that on a cake. IMO

I agree peonies are prone to ants that's why it's common to see them as sugar flowers instead of a real one.

Can any one provide an estimate for sugar flowers just scattered on a cake. Since I prob can't use regular real flowers
