Real Men of Genius (sing it!)

I love these radio ads!

My fav (or course) is Mr. Fancy Coffee Shop Coffee Pourer. When I hear it come on, I always hope it is this one. I have been hearing Mr. Boneless Buffalo Wing Inventor alot lately. Also classic.

THe 'lyrics'
Today, we salute you, Mr. Fancy Coffee shop Coffee Pourer
(Mr. Fancy Coffee shop Coffee Pourer)
What do you do with a masters degree in art history?
You get a nose ring and pour coffee for a living.
(pour it on now)
Why is it called a latte? Maybe because it costs a latte
and, it takes a latte time to make.
(whole lotta latte)
Someone ordred a cappuccino? Step aside and let the
man who works the milk foamer take over.
(step aside)
Sure, you charge five bucks for a cup of coffee,
it's putting that tip jar out that takes real guts.
(Yeah!)

So, crack open an ice cold budlight, Guru of the ground roast,
it's not the caffeine that gives us the buzz, it's you.

(Mr. Fancy Coffee shop Coffee Pourer)

Oh I love these ads! You forget it's for cheap beer!

I really lol'ed at this one. Best one in a long time.

I love these!

I also love the one where I think they are talking about Buffalo wings, and the processed meat, and the guy who sings the comments says... Hope I'm not eating behind!

this one is funny too:

Bud Light Presents: Real Men of Genius
(real men of genius)
Today we salute you, Mr. Wedding Band Guitar Player.
(Mr. Wedding Band Guitar Player)
Any guitar player can rock a packed stadium but it takes real talent to keep the Wishinski reception going all night long.
(Mazal Tov) Perched on the stage in your undersized tuxedo, you tirelessly churn out tunes from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.
(Keep on rockin')
Sound check? You don't need no stinking sound check.
(No!)
And even though you've never had groupies, you have bagged the occasional bridesmaid.
(Never forget you!)
So crack open an ice-cold Bud Light, guitar guy, because every wedding you go to, you're the real best man.
(Mr. Wedding Band Guitar Player)

i love Mr. Outside the Stadium Peanut Seller and Mr. Cell Phone Holster Wearer

this was another good one:

Mr. Horse-Drawn Carriage Driver

Bud Light Presents: Real Men of Genius
(real men of genius)
Today we salute you, Mr. Horse-Drawn Carriage Driver.
(Mr. Horse-Drawn Carriage Driver)
You start your day with a 'tip tip' and a 'cheerio' which is odd because you're from Brooklyn.
(Jolly old Brooklyn!)
While most people sit behind a desk, you proudly sit two feet behind a four-legged manure factory.
(uugghh!)
No one knows the guts it takes to ride the subway to work dressed as a foppish dandy from the 18th century.
(He's a foppish dandy)
Blaring horns, profanity, vicious insults - all met with a courtly tip of your stovepipe hat.
(Cheerio!)
So crack open an ice-cold Bud Light, buggy boy, because the way you say 'giddyup' makes us say 'whoa'!
(whoa whoa whoa)

This one is my current favorite!

Mr. Over-Zealous Foul Ball Catcher

bud light presents real men of genius

(real men of genius)

Today we salute you, Mr. Over-Zealous Foul Ball Catcher.

(Mr. Over-Zealous Foul Ball Catcher)

You're nowhere close to that foul ball headed toward the bleachers, who cares? You're going for it.

(That ball's mine)

Hot dog vendors, old ladies, infants, you mow them over like a diesel powered combine.

(YEAH!!)

Ashamed of your souvenir pervert? Hardly. You scratch and gouge your way to the ball like a blood thirsty wolverine.

(You're a feisty rodent)

So crack open an ice-cold Bud Light Mr. Bully of the Bleachers, because why pay for a souvenir when you can fight for one?

(Mr. Over-Zealous Foul Ball Catcher)

OK - I became obsessed and googled - look what I found:

You can download all the commercials!

Oh never mind - you can't - I looked at the website and BuD Light wont let them do it anymore - sorry - I got so excited!

I write them in my spare time.

Little known fact. The singer that does the catchy little back up singing is the ORIGINAL singer of Survivor - the one who sang 'Eye of the Tiger' and NOT the one who sang 'High on You' or 'I Can't Hold Back.'

MY fave is Mr Doggie Day Spa Operator!!

every time i have to take my puppy to get groomed i want to sing this to them - these two guys own it and they are the most laid back guys but they definitely market their business as a doggie day spa!!!
