Real or Fake

If you get a compliment on say your bag and it's a fake (ie. a fake Louis) are you more inclined to say that it's fake or do you just say thank you and allow the person complimenting you believe that it's real.

We were just debating this here at work. Opinions???

That's what we were saying. One of the girls was saying that they're complimenting you on your bag to see if you'll say it's fake. I'm like WHAT?! You're paranoid!

I have one real and one fake coach bags. I switch back and forth depending on my outfit and colors and everything. Everytime someone compliments me on myfake one, i just say thanks. If i can look like I got the $$$ without really spending it, why not??

sorry girls, all the bags I have are real, altho I only bought 2 of them, the rest were gifts... Did I tell you how great my FMIL is?

Ummn I want a knock off Chole bage tho, b/c I couldn't justify spending $1700. on the bag I want & neither could FMIL, she buys mostly coach, and that's b/c of the fab policy they have, the lifetime warrenty!! love it..

If I did have the Chole bag I want, I would tell people where I got it, ( THOSE OF YOU WITH )please let me know where I can get one preferably w/o being in danger.

Wait, a real one? I know that intermix in NY sells them. They had a ridiculous sale on them a few months ago, and the large paddingtons were like $999 (instead of like $2,300)!

As for fakes, I say go into the city and ask a street vendor. They have the more 'realistic' knock offs hidden (not on display )

I wish I could say that I was kidding! But I actually had to get ushered into a scary room in some shady apartment in Chinatown. It was UNREAL. They had 12 year olds yelling on walkie talkies back to the street level where the 'watch person' was. But I guarantee that no one can tell that my Chanel bag is fake!

Thanks for the tip on the street vendor, & I like the med size, I feel in love w/ it when I saw it on someone 's arm at Polo this summer in bridgehampton, Intermix sponcers the matches so, I did get a nice lil goodie bag from them

HAHAHA You mean the 'secret closet' as i like to call them?? That was the most bizarre experience ive ever had. FH was lookout on the streets while me, my sister and FMIL quickyl looked. I gotta say it is quite comical when you think about it.
