We have a tiny house, so I use my Grandmother's old fake 3ft tall tree and all her decorations..nice to have something of hers around at Christmas, although it also makes me miss all my grandparents

my parents have like 5 or so christmas trees in some years, one large real, one large fake, one fake fiber optic and then two small ones. and believe me when i say my house is small

We used to have a fake one when I was little then we used real ones. About 3 years ago we bought a prelight fake one and I LOVE IT!! No more needles and sap everywhere! And the best part is no fighting with the lights! (that was Dad's job noneof us had the patience)

our apt is so small we have a fake one that's like 3-4ft tall! its our own personal 'charlie brown tree,' but I love it. Can't wait to have space for a real one some day!
I prefer to call our apartment 'micro-living'
I have the perfect solution for you... Every year, Target sells fake trees that are TALL (about 6 ft), but they're more of a narrow cone-shape.... so they don't take up much valuable realestate (They're always under $40 too!!!)
So we have our 'bling' and our floor space too!

fake.... and we pick out a special ornament each year so far have 10 (in additon to the regular ornaments lol) just a lil tradition thing we started
