Really adorable shower idea... thought i would share

My coworkers daugher is getting married in APril. The two already live together so they have all the little necessities that they would usually put on the registry...

So, the family decided that they would designate one holiday to certain families, and they would arrange a basket for each holiday

For example she said for Christmas and Chanukah(they are jewish and catholic)

They would make a basket with candy dishes, stockings, ornaments, dish towels, place mats etc. Its inexpensive but such an adorable idea!

Hope it helps someone! I am thinking of running it by my mom since fh and I have all the little things we need already :)

thats cute. my cousin got a a few tubs filled with different holiday decorations. it was such a cute idea

That's a cute idea, I've also seen baskets of cleaning supplies (which is great 'cuz they never go bad and you can always use more bleach!) and non-perishable cooking/baking stuff (flour, sugar, salt, pepper....)

oh i love tis. My aunt put together all different baskets for the holidays for my cousin at her bridal shower it was the cutest!

i am doing that for 2 of my friends! Making all holiday baskets! i have so much stuff and am so excited about it! did christmas, halloween, easter, thanksgiving, and st pattys (for their irish fh's)!

So cute! I've also seen where you assign each guest a room in the house or a time of day.

Very cute idea! My FSIL did something like this for her friends and she kind of complained because it was hard to get some holidays during a time of the year that stores don't sell it. Like I would be so nervous to get a holiday that the shower is not even around like if its in May, you can't find Christmas things that time of the year in stores - only online and is that limiting. It would be so cute but if people have a lot of advance on what holiday to get, that would def. help out the guests!

I did this for my sister's shower. It is hard to get things when the holiday is so many months away. As soon as my sister got engaged I started buying things. But I would wait until a few days after the holiday when everything was on sale!!!

It was really nice and she loved it
