My coworkers daugher is getting married in APril. The two already live together so they have all the little necessities that they would usually put on the registry...
So, the family decided that they would designate one holiday to certain families, and they would arrange a basket for each holiday
For example she said for Christmas and Chanukah(they are jewish and catholic)
They would make a basket with candy dishes, stockings, ornaments, dish towels, place mats etc. Its inexpensive but such an adorable idea!
Hope it helps someone! I am thinking of running it by my mom since fh and I have all the little things we need already :)

that's a great idea.. my aunt gave my sister a basket with all different wreaths for each of the holidays and another aunt gave her different door signs for the holidays. such a fun idea.

i gave my cousin for her baby shower a rolling toy cart filled with baby foods. she loved it people were talking about it for a while i did make sure all the exp dated on the foods were at least 6-9 months away on everything.
i put a bunch of the cooking mixes on my williams sonoma registry. i love gift baskets i really hope we get some of the mixes they all look so yummy
