ok.. I ask this like twice a week... but I really need answers.
I need to know the absolute cheapest photographer and videographer around!
FH pretty much doesn't want to spend the money on a photographer and thinks videography is a big waste! I feel opposite... but he controls the checkbook.
So... I emailed photographers and videographers yesterday and I got a lot of quotes back, and others that say 'come in to talk...' and honestly- after being so indecisive with a RH.. i don't want to go through that AGAIN! we looked at 17 halls and contacted countless others... FH and I both became so stressed over it that we had huge fights, both got sick... it was just he ll !...
so.. I'm asking you guys... CHEAPEST photographer around?? Like is it impossible to find one UNDER $1,000??... ok how about under $1,200?? $1,500??? my budget is sooo tight.... I need a photog for over 12 hours.. that's where its getting too expensive! our church is at 1:00 and our night doesn't end until 12:00... unless I skip the 'getting ready' part... but I really don't want to!
so.. help??
oh- videographer would have to be CHEAPER for him to say yes....

I agree with J'adore Love. They are very reasonable and if you want reasonable video....couped up productions. His work is also really good. He starts at $595 for raw footage but it you want fully edited the highest package is $1695. He also has a lightly edited package for $895.

For video we are using Halo. We were going to skip the video all together, but then I felt like I might miss out on it. I went with the basic package and felt the quality and price of their video was worth it.

I feel for you... The photog is the most important vendor...honestly it will be hard to find one for under $1500 esp a good one and you want to have a good one bec the pics are your memories... how about skipping the albums and TY cards? You can make those yourself on lots of websites (snapfish, shutterfly etc) using your pro pics and save a lot of $$. For video try inSync (vendors on here) they were really resonable and did a great job...we were really happy with our video. Sorry I don't have any photog recs!

One way I cut costs on photography is that we are only getting a hi res CD of all our images and printing rights....THATS IT. No albums or anything. It really kept the cost down.

my photog charges around 1400 for unlimited time... no albums though... includes e-shoot and some other things... www.nickgphoto.com
my video guy has pachages in diff ranges.... i believe they start at just under 1k... i paid 1400 for mine.... www.halovideo.com

Noelle P. Wilson. Her prices are really affordable. She only has one package where you get all pics on a CD to develop on your own.
Also,
Hybrid Media Production had video and photog packages that were also pretty reasonable.
