Really Cool Bridemaid Gift Alternative

Hey everyone, I love this site, my fiancee and I are getting married in NYC on December 1st. I was looking around for UNIQUE bridesmaid gifts and I found this site today

I looked around and saw these pajamas have been worn by celebrities and been in a bunch of magazines. They are so cool for a bridemaids party. Just thought it was cool, and wanted to pass it along. Wher eis the best place in NYC to get a hotel for the nite of the wedding? My reception is still being worked out but kind of do not want to stay there.

Yeah I am legit, its just an alternative to all the same bridesmaid gifts I keep finding, I wanted to get something totally different and just wanted to pass this along to anyone else who might be in the same boat

I'm sorry - I did not mean to be rude. No one likes a fake, and sometimes, well, they're just easier to spot, and sometimes we get it wrong.

Welcome to the boards newbie!! By the way, I am doing a basket with little items for each BM that I know she'll like - each has a different theme. This way, it's unique to them. It's another idea for you. Hope that helps!!

Thanks, its ok, i understand how so many people must try to advertise, I was thinknig of a basket myself, i purchased matching pajamas from the site above, prob will get some little nick nacks to go in it, thats a good idea!

I gave my girls baskets and they had satin pajamas, aromatherapy sets from Bath & Body Works, necklace and earings for the wedding day, photo albums and frames. They loved them.

Another BM gift idea... I am making little bags for the girls with just some little stuff in it and then taking them to a spa for a manicure and pedicure. But my point was, I found these great magnets. They are from the 'The Girls' collection by Melissa Gittelman and there are different personalities. For example, 'Spa Girl, Cafe Girl, Internet Girl, Fashion Girl, Cosmopolitan Girl, etc.' They make magnets and coffee mugs, even some gift bags with the different characters, so you can get a different magnet or whatever for every girl based on her personality. I found the magnets at Hallmark, but had a hard time finding other items, but this website, ateyelevel.com, carries the entire collection as well as other items. Just an idea, I was really psyched when I found them and I thought it was a fun way to personalize the gifts since I had six girls, all with different personalities.

I'm not that familiar with the hotels in NYC, but I'll ask my friend when she gets into work and see if she has any ideas.
