So I think Im going to start looking for dresses soon and I wanted to know if there is sales tax on wedding dresses in NY? We dont have sales tax where I live, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a dress out here or at home on LI, but if theres the NY sales tax, it might be worth it for me to try and find one out here! actually, depending where you go, if you pay cash there might not be tax. i didnt pay tax on mine.

There is tax on any clothing over $100 or $150 per item...not sure which.
