Really goofy numbers on your registry?

Anyone else have really weird numbers on your registry? Like 5 of this, 13 of that, etc.

Ex: I broke a [thankfully cheap] martini glass we bought from C&B, and so I bought a replacement and they scanned it onto our registry. Now our registry lists us as having requested and receiving 4 of everything in the set, but 5 of one piece (because of the replacement)

We also registered for 12 place settings, but a family friend bought one from a different store. I took one off of our registry to reflect that, so now it looks like we registered for 11 place settings lbut 12 of everything else!

We registered for a set of 12 of our fancy wine/water glasses to match our china, but someone just sent us 5 wine glasses (when we already had 8 of 12) from a different store, so I'm adjusting our registry again so it will say '8 of 8 purchased' so we dont get even more. People will probably think, why did she want 8 wine glasses but 12 water glasses?



It's like registering for 5 forks and spoons, but 11 knives. People must think we are really nutty with the quantities on our registry now!

OK, will rephrase.

We originally started off with nice even numbers on our registry:

12 of all of our china.

12 of all of our wine glasses.

But people buy things from different stores than where we are registered, so we have been adjusting our registry to ask for less of those so we dont get doubles. (ex: person got our place setting from macys instead of BBB, so we changed our registry so it asks for 11 instead of 12. It would be like registering for a clock at one store, receiving it from a different store and editing your registry so it doesnt look like you still need the clock). It just seems really uneven because it looks like we registered for 11 place settings but 12 salad plates and 8 wine glasses but 10 water glasses. Does that make more sense?

Oh I get it! lol I'm slow today, it's been a long week! To answer your original post, no we don't have that (yet) then again we haven't had anything purchased off our registries! lol
