Really Need Help!!!

I am getting married next weekend and I still dont have a song to dance with my father to. I have listened to every song you can think of, I dont want the usual song, please help with something different. Thanks

Did you ask your father if there is a song that he would like to dance to? If you want to keep it a surprise you might ask your mother.

Really Need Help!!!

I am going to pick a song based onthe music my Dad likes (it so happens I like the same music!!! ) But I think I am going to use The Beatles In My Life or maybe a Billy Joel song ! Just go with what would make you both smile, no matter what song it is!!

Have you checked out www.liweddings.com/community/wedsongs/fatherdance or weddingromance.com or ultimatewedding.com..they all have long lists of father daughter songs. Good Luck

Great Father/Daughter dance song!

I was at a wedding last weekend, and the bride and her dad danced to a song called ' a song for my daughter' I've never heard it before until then, what a beautiful song!!!! its about a father giving his daughter away to her new husband! real tearjerker! might use it for my own wedding in October! its by Mikki. Good luck, and keep us posted!

'A Song For My Daughter'

I'm considering this song for my father daughter dance. It's really nice and I've never heard it used. Download the song from Napster if you have it.....I'm not sure who sings it.

'A Song For My Daughter'

I thought 'A Song For My Daughter' is Ray Allaire and 'A Song For My Son' is Mikki Vereck... however you spell the last name.... I could be wrong but thats all I have seen... I tried to go with Kippi Brannon's 'Daddy's Little Girl' which made me cry but dad didnt like the country style to it. But its a nice song, sung by a lady and when you get to the part of walking down the aisle- TEARS TEARS TEARS! Good luck!

your right about Mikki verick, but someone told me she wrote both songs, either way its a beautiful song!
