When I get really nervous I have to um...go to the bathroom a lot I am worried about this on my wedding day - my Mom told me to take those Pepto Bismal tablets because she has the same problem, but I was wondering if anybody else has this problem. If so, do you have something you do / take that gets rid of it?

I would honestly take the pepto as a precaution and keep an extra BOTTLE somewhere near just in case.

Just watch what you eat the week before the wedding stay away from greasy sugary stuff as that causes poop also the day before the wedding I barle ate exceot for a bagel because I was trying to eat only dry stuff as my stomach gets really bad when I am nervous and I am proud to say I did not poop all day and I tried not to drink to much either

I wouldnt take the Pepto but maybe keep them close by in case the problem starts to arise. They work pretty fast so at the first sign you can chew two of them and it should subside. Maybe the thought of knowing that they are near will even relax your nerves.

I have IBS so I am all too familiar with this problem.
On days that i know going to the bathroom is not ideal I take immodium AD. that prevents anything from happening.
Pepto Bismal works, but it is not as good as immodium. For my wedding day I took no chances and took the imoodium in the morning.
I had no problems all day!

Re: Really personal question....WR
you probably have IBS - which can be triggered by stress and nerves and is very common amongst 20 somethings - especially in women.
immodium ad should help you - its a little stronger than pepto. if you still find it 2b a problem visit a gastroentonoligst (phonetic) they will be able to prescribe meds to help.
also - try to avoid dairy as they are hard to digest. try to avoid acidy foods as well - and increase your fiber intake.

Both of my sisters' are like that, on my twin sisters wedding day, she took immodium AD. I on the other hand always have to pee when I am nervous. Maybe I will wear depends on my day

There is soooo much going on during your wedding day, you won't even think about it. I went (because I was nervous) right before we walked to the church, and then not again till the reception was over. It didn't even cross my mind during the day.

I pee a LOT - I'm wondering about that one - as for the other thing - there is NO way I'll even have anything close to the urge on that day at all.... my poop is very selective...
