Do you guys belive in Orbs? When my uncles passed away, in my religion they say that the spirit wonders for 40 days, and let me tell you my uncles def came to my house. I wasnt scared bec I know there were there for a good reason. In soo many pics that I have taken there are orbs everywhere, perfectly big and round orbs. At dinner when my uncle passed my sis saw an orb in her face and fell to the bottom of the table to follow it, my family was like what in the world are you doing on the floor and she didnt want people to think she was nuts, lol so she said she dropped something. I must sound soo silly but I believe in all that stuff

What is the 40 days?

It's pretty much what MPAS mentioned. After a person dies, their spirit wanders for 40 days before it rests. With us, after the 40 days we hold a prayer to help the spirit of the deceased lay to rest and offer it a safe journey.

My uncle passed away in March and during that time, lots of stuff would happen at their house. His van went untouched and unopened, but the radio would constantly turn on by itself and play this particular Bee Gees song that was his favorite and if you put a glass or bottle down, it would disappear and you'd find it on the opposite side of the room.

I’ve had some strange things in my house. The most memorable was when I was sitting in my bedroom, alone in the house. I had the door closed and then I heard someone whistling in the house. It came eventually closer and closer to my room but there were no footsteps or anything. Eventually, it was like right outside the door and I popped it open to check and there was nobody there. Not much has happened since that.

My one REALLY strange experience was when I was in Ireland. We stayed at this old hotel and I had a room to myself. I had put my headphones on to listen to music since I really wasn’t tired. At one point, I felt hot so I opened my eyes and the whole wall at the foot of the bed was on fire. I could hear it through the headphones and everything. I was terrified so I squeezed my eyes shut and when I opened them again it was gone. I found out the next day that the original hotel had burned down some time ago!

Foreign places are the worse. I ve had a couple of experiences in Greece. Ireland has soo many old buidlings and castles, I would love to visit there

When the pictures were developed, in one of the group pictures there is someone else standing in the back...it's not this blurry thing...you can clearly see it in the picture. It was almost as if they wanted to get in on the picture too because she was in the back row next to my aunt. It is the creepiest thing to look at!

I completely believe in all of this. I know that spirits are everywhere --some for good some because they are lost (I don't like to say bad).

The house I grew up in had them -- they never bothered us just some strange sounds or flickering -- we knew they were there but we didn't bother them and they didn't bother us. They would drive the dog crazy once in while though.

They say that children and animals see the most because they are untainted. My niece sees everyone that has passed in my family. People she has never met she just talks about them. Its nice to know they are with us and her.

I don't have it here...it's at my mom's house, but whenever I look at the picture I get creeped out.

I used to also see my grandfather when I was younger. He died before my parents were even married. I always stayed up later than everyone else and would always feel like someone was watching me. One night, I work up and there was a man standing at the corner of my room just looking at me--he was so clear. I went and described every detail to my mom.

Years later, I was looking through old pics with my mom and grandma and came across the picture of an older man. I took it and asked my mom who it was. Her and my grandma told me it was my grandpa (I had never seen him before then), and I told them that that was the guy who used to hang out in my room. My grandma just smiled at me and said I know.

At my sis haunted house, they had a dog that would never stop barking at all times of the night. and her block is full of cats!!!!!

i never actually SAW a ghost but they visit me in my sleep for some reason. . . nothing bad and only people i know

shortly after FH's grandfather passed, he came to me in a dream and he was very frustrated - he told me that he wanted to get through to his wife but she was trying too hard and he couldn't get through. . . but he told me not to tell her that he came to me bc she would just get upset

well, the next day i found out that she had gone to get a reading the day before and nothing came through and she was really upset about it!

he came to me a few times after that also, always with the same message but now, not in a long long time.

Also, after my grandmother passed i felt SO guilty because I really treated her like garbage towards the end - I just couldn't understand that the Alzheimer's was making her act the way she was acting so I was very mean to her. She came to me a few times when I was feeling guilty and brought me peace so when I woke up I knew that she forgave me

I thought it wasn't a big deal either.

Kids are more susceptible to sightings though because their minds are still open.

If my dad were here, he would have some ghost stories to tell!
