My house was haunted as a kid. There were always footsteps and wierd things happening. We decided it was all family. (the house had been in the family for 100 years). A few years ago my sister and I were sitting on the couch watching a movie, and we heard the doorknob turn on the coast closet, and the door came flying open. Lots of weird things......now for some reason, I can walk into a house and just know if there is a ghost there....does that sound crazy?

Ohhh WOW, my sisters house is haunted. When she moved in to her home she found bones underneath her carpet. She and numerous guests she had at her home hear footsteps. She sees people at the side of her bed sometimes. Im scared shitt to go to her house. She, her husband and nephew all feel down the stairs

That's scary! Does she live on L.I.? Did she have the bones removed and the house blessed? Someone is definitely not at rest....

No she lives in Queens. I dont think her house was blessed, maybe Im wrong, I cant remember. Umm my nephew has these walkie talkies and my sis said they went nuts in her house, maybe white noise YIKESS that scary. We took them to my house and there was not much acitvity on them. My parents and other sis had to sleep at my haunted sisters house bec they went away and my house had to be exterminaed and took my parrot with them. Poor bird could not sleep , she was flying around in her cage, my sis and parents could not sleep , they heard noises all night, thank goodnes I was not there , I would have
sleep in the st before I sleep in a haunted house

It's true that animals can pick up on them. When I was younger my little Chihuahua jumped off the couch and stared at something in the hall....I was too afraid to look....she was growling and showing her teeth....her hair was up on her back...it was creepy....

yeah- kids too- my friend was looking for houses and her daughter was waving to the man in the corner- needless to say she didnt buy THAT house- haha

My sis says our house is haunted. They heard my nephew on the baby monitor in the next room crying, then someone saying' Its ok' or something to that effect then my nephew started giggling. He went from crying to giggling

We had a flood in our basement a few years ago and had to replace walls. They heard strange noises during the construction. My sister went to get EVPs (she is all into this TAPs/ghost hunter stuff) and heard nothing while they were tape recording down there, but when they played it back, they heard a kids voice say something like 'they are right here'- SPOOKY!

BILs mother in the poconos and thinks her house is haunted- her dryer goes on and stuff- hey- ghosts who do landry- they can stay!

I would love to go on a real ghost hunt too....just with a LOT of people.....LOL....I couldn't do it by myself....

I watch this show on ch 18, called the Haunted, its a dramitization of real haunted houses and the people that went though this. I watch TAPS all the time. My sis and I want to go to a real haunted house for halloween

I never got into TAPS, but I tivo Haunting regularly- haha

Its such bad acting but I love it. I have to watch it before dark though.

If you saw half of the crap they claim to see in the house- wouldnt you get the he!! out and never return.

I mean if something choked me or growled at me- im outta there!

I watch them both too....and Most Haunted on the Travel Channel on Friday nights. I would love to go to a real haunted house on Halloween too....we must be a little sick.....

Do you guys belive in Orbs? When my uncles passed away, in my religion they say that the spirit wonders for 40 days, and let me tell you my uncles def came to my house. I wasnt scared bec I know there were there for a good reason. In soo many pics that I have taken there are orbs everywhere, perfectly big and round orbs. At dinner when my uncle passed my sis saw an orb in her face and fell to the bottom of the table to follow it, my family was like what in the world are you doing on the floor and she didnt want people to think she was nuts, lol so she said she dropped something. I must sound soo silly but I believe in all that stuff

I completely believe in that. I've actually seen a few pics on this site with orbs in it....I though people would think I was weird if I was like 'Do you know you have a ghost in your wedding photo?' It's not unusual for them to visit on your wedding day though. My FSIL has pics of her daughter's communion, and there are three pics with orbs hovering right at her head in every pic....

I have never seen an orb in a pic- but would probably believe it was a ghost.

I am so interested in this stuff but terrified at the same time.

My parents have a couple of gardens and in one of them someone took a pic and by this wall appears a very demonic figure, ohhh my goodness when I saw this I said I am never going back there again. I have it on another comp, I will post when I get home. Its sooo scary

it was very very windy the day of my grandmothers funeral - which is not usuall for July. that x-mas- we decorated the house as usual and one of us said tht we wished nanny coule be here to see how we decorated- just then- the wind started gusting so lound that you could here it with the windows closed. co-inkydink- who knows
