I just looked outside and its all gloomy and foggy and cool. Its October and Oct=Halloween=Scary!!!!!. Me ,my sisters and friends always got amused by ghost stories, scary movies, Ouija Boards etc etc . Does anyone have any good, true scary ghost story to tell? Would anyone like to share their past experiences that you might have had with ghosts or something of that sort????

I did catch a couple things on tv this weekend--all about Gettysburg being haunted. DH gets exasperated with me with all the haunting stuff.

There is one on Oct 19 about the Winchester Mansion where this lady just kept on buiiding and buidling this massive home to get rid of spirits, In England

Totally random, but I think this is a great thread and I want to keep it going, so more scary stories!
This I didn’t personally experience…but for a year, I lived in a haunted dorm. I went to Fordham and they filmed bits of the Exorcist around there and our building was really old and by the cemetary so it was just begging to be haunted, lol.
Once, my roomie called me in hysterics because she was in the room by herself studying for a test. I had left my laptop open because I was downloading something and she swore that all of a sudden the keys started being pressed on my laptop! She was frozen for a while, but finally slammed down the lid of the laptop and ran out of the room.
We had a lot of funky stuff go on in that building… there was one bedroom where no one stayed because a priest apparently killed himself in that room and wasn’t very keen on sharing it. He would rearrange the furniture so everything would be up against the left wall.

I saw the preview for that.
I had known about the Winchester mansion for a long time now, and it's cool that they're finally doing something like that there.
She was a little crazy--a bit of a recluse and a huge fan of mediums and psychics. They say the place is haunted by hundreds of ghosts.

When I was younger(elementary) me, my brother, and sister used to go over our pastors house to hang out with his kids. One day the adults had to go somewhere and left us in the house (there was 5 of us).. we were just playing a board game and all the sudden we hear these noise coming from the radio so all 5 of us went to turn off the radio but it wasn't on. So we were thinking one of us is playing a joke.. big deal.. so we started playing again as soon as we sat down the radio starts playing again... now I'm scared and crying telling them not to play jokes because its not funny.. then we decided to go check the radio again and once again it was off.. so we sat down in the family room on the sofa all scared then the piano started playing!!! we were all crying praying singing reading bible versus and as soon as we started praying and reading it went away.
another story,
we used to live in Albertson LI.. and it was a pretty big house so my sister decided to take the whole basement for herself(its one of those split level houses when you walk into the door you can either go the upstairs or down. there is this korean ghost story that alot of people go through its called gawi- which means scissors in korean.. its when supposedly a ghost comes on top of you while your sleeping and chokes you. they call it scissors because supposedly the ghost sits on you with his/her knees on your chest in a scissor form so you can move... no one believes these stories until it really happens to them. So this had happened to my sister and my stepmother. my sister while she was sleeping opened her eyes because she was unable to move or breathe. there was NOTHING on top of her but she was choking and unable to get up. she couldn't even scream. she said after a few fights she was able to get up but that is sooo scary!!! I didnt believe her until it happened to my stepmother. she said she was sleeping and when she opened her eyes she saw a black shadow coming from her picture frame straight at her and started choking her..
Definitely add more stories! I would love to hear more!
