Really, why do I even bother? (vent- turned out long)
So the majority of my bridal party doesnt live in NY, which is fine. Those who do live here are 2 of my close friends and FSIL. I haven't had any of them do anything so far other than get their BM dresses. SO the 2 friends keep asking what they can do. Finally I found something - I asked them if they could come with me to choose a veil and shoulder covering. I booked a Sunday because they said that is best for them.
Good. Now one says she may not be able to come because she might be going to the pride parade with a group of people (its in the afternoon, our appointment is at 11am). The other one who INSISTED she wanted to be there and I booked it AFTER checking with her now said 'I feel bad but my friend in DC asked me to come visit and so I decided to go that weekend...can we do it during the week instead?' No. We can't. I live in Brooklyn, work in Queens, the salon is in Manhattan. I work til 6 and it closed by 7.
I'm not even mad. Just disappointed and tired and now have to go alone.
