I had doubts on getting a video, so for all of you who feel the same way, here is a reasonable priced video. Rainbow Video & Photography in Levittown #(516) 796-6081. They were recommended to me by two friends. They even give a free video to the person who recommended you. It is inexpensive to get it on DVD, or later converted to DVD. Some companies charge $250 for DVD. Definitely worth checking out. They work on recommendations only and do not advertise.

Just remember that low cost is not always the reason to go with a vendor. Look at the girls who booked VideoMakers- he was cheap so they went with him. Only go with vendors that have a solid repuation in their industry and read a lot about who they are. Also, there are so many different qualities with videos. I know nothing about these folks- so this is NOT against them at all. I am just saying to listen to the video quality, ask lots of questions about how they plan on using sound equipment, lighting equipment, and editting. If a deal is too good to be true, it usually is.
You are right and made good points. In my case, the video was least important to me. Everyone told me I would regret it if I did not get one. This is why I went with them. They were reasonable and recommended. I just did not want to spend the extra money on the video. The video was $1095, with the baby pictures, recap, editting and 2 videos came with this package.
