If you go to the reception guide on here it breaks things down by price.

Some of the ones within your budget would be:

Bellport Country Club
Crestwood Manor (though when I looked there it was much higher than it says on the guide)
Floral Terrace
Larkfield Manor (again, we were quoted MUCH higher than the guide, but since you want a smaller wedding it may be less. But I will warn you that they are going to be doing construction and the prices are going up)
Harbor Club
Millerridge Cottage
Meadow Club
(It says that Old Field Club is within your budget but we were quoted $150+, so unless it would work for a smaller wedding, I'm not sure)
Riviera
Villa Lombardis
Watermill
Windows on the Lake

Hope that helps!

What was crestwood manor like? It looked pretty in the bridal magazine ads but I know nothing about it. How many does it hold?

Crestwood Manor was actually our second choice. It was a little more than we wanted to spend, especially not being on the water, but it was beautiful, and everyone we spoke to there was very nice.

They told us it could accommodate 150 but I don't know about that.

What kind of venue are you going for? I think a day wedding you can definitely get your price range. Or if you do a friday or sunday night are cheapier. I have seen so many places...My top are Cresthollow Country Club, The Larkfield, Smithtown Landing Country Club, Chateau la Mer. The Watermill is also very nice. Good luck!!
