We are looking for a vanue for our October 2013 wedding. Anyone have suggestions in the price range of $70-$85 pp. We are only having between 100-120 guests. Everything I've looked at is just so expensive.

Re: reasonable prices
That's the date I'm getting married, I'd say look into my RH, but they only do one wedding at a time. If you are open to a different date in that month, definitely look into the Thatched Cottage. None of the other places we looked at were under $100 per person, so I'm not much help other than that.

Re: reasonable prices
The only places I know of that will be in that price range are Smithtown Landing Country Club and Timberpoint Country Club.

Re: reasonable prices
If you go to the reception guide on here it breaks things down by price.
Some of the ones within your budget would be:
Bellport Country Club Crestwood Manor (though when I looked there it was much higher than it says on the guide) Floral Terrace Larkfield Manor (again, we were quoted MUCH higher than the guide, but since you want a smaller wedding it may be less. But I will warn you that they are going to be doing construction and the prices are going up) Harbor Club Millerridge Cottage Meadow Club (It says that Old Field Club is within your budget but we were quoted $150+, so unless it would work for a smaller wedding, I'm not sure) Riviera Villa Lombardis Watermill Windows on the Lake
Hope that helps!

Re: reasonable prices
I was really frustrated at first looking into Venues too, mostly because I am on a really strict budget and I wanted to keep my wedding small. I'm sending you FM with more information. :)

WM quoted us about $72 for our wedding, forgot to add that - they seemed really helpful and they have beautiful grounds. I just don't like their low ceilings lol which seems so weird, but a great RH to consider

Swan Club gave me that pricing quote
This--and also remember day weddings and Fri evening weddings tend to be less expensive, so if you're open to different times of the day, I'm sure a lot of places would be within your budget.

I got an excellent quote from Windows that is within your budget. They were very nice and a pleasure so far to work with.

Re: reasonable prices
I'm getting married at Flowerfield for within your budget price - then, as with most venues that is the base price and there's an administrative/service fee and tax as well! Still, the total package ended up being far less than we thought it would be. The day/month/time definitely make a difference. We could not afford our dream date in May (peak season), so we're doing late April, and a Saturday afternoon instead of night to save money. FF was also one of the only places that would give us a smaller minimum - we have a lot of guests coming from CT and NH and aren't sure exactly how many can come so that was a relief to be given a smaller minimum (and to find this price, for what's included it's a really great deal).
