I know there are a number of us who are having our ceremony at our reception sites.
I decided to do this, because I am not a very religious person and do not attend church regularly and neither does my FI. So when I found out that you could have your ceremony and reception in one place, I thought that was great.
My FI was hesistant at first, but I won the battle.
I just wouldn't feel right getting married at a Church that I did not belong to.
What were your reasons ladies?

It was just easier...friday night wedding, all at one place, and I was glad too b/c the weather was yuckie. We didnt get limos, really no point. I drove myself to the ceremony/reception site along with my MOH and friend. Husband drove to the site with his best man in best mans car

So everyone is getting dressed at the hall? I was going to get dressed at home and have pictures taken there.

I got dressed at the home,took some pics, then changed out of the dress to drive there, then got dressed AGAIN at the hall
