Flowerfield has THE BEST food I've ever had at any wedding I've ever been to! Also, the service was more incredible than you can imagine....talk about being treated like royalty! They are willing to give you basically anything you want and the place is beautiful.

The Milleridge... I've been to a couple of events here and I loved that the dancefloor was HUGE, the reception room overall was very large, they do one event at a time, and the food is also amazing.
I also liked the homey feel it had, yet it was still so big. The hardwood floors were also a major selling point, because I just have a weird thing about the carpet in some places lol.

one wedding at a time, hardwood floor ballroom as well (not segregated between carpet and tile on the dance floor) and beautiful grounds to take photos (multiple golf courses)

This! Plus...One event at a time, the cocktail hour room is really unique and completely separate from the reception room including separate bathrooms to keep the reception room a surprise, the venue is set away from major roads so no 'traffic' noise for an outdoor ceremony, huge bridal suite, amazing grounds with so many different backdrops for photos, two full size bars in the reception room and bathrooms in the reception room. Once your wedding moves into the reception room there will never be a need for guests to leave the party because everything, including doors to outside fresh air is right there. FH and I just live everything about it!

The Swan Club's gardens can't be beat in beauty. They BM is sooo sweet and actually when I went to sign the contract, asked me a million times if I was positive I wanted to book it right then and there and not wait a little while. My parents weren't totally on board with the wedding at that point, she knew that and wanted to do what was best for me rather than best for the venue. Plus, if you like seafood, they have an amazing dish of fish stuffed with lobster, shrimp, and scallops. The people who work there AND the owners are the nicest people- if you remember the grocery store Trunz, the same people own it. PLUS we're only paying about $72 per person with all taxes included and it's a 40 person minimum for their smallest room.

It is so comfortable (for a better lack of words). Even though its a mansion its not too crazy opulent and over the top. It has 3 fireplaces that we can use and they just re-did the dance floor in this new beautiful dark almost cherry wood flooring and its gorgeous! I loved the feeling I got when I walked in and then after meeting with the BM Steve... FH and I were SOLD. What made it even better is that after we booked we found out that FH's Grandfather helped build the golf course that is surrounding it :)

My fiance made the mistake of taking me to Oheaka to check out as the first venue...and of course I fell in love with it as soon as we drove up the driveway..it is absolutely goregeous. We scouted about dozen more venues and it just paled in comparison. It took almost a month to be able to negotiate the price to get it where we were able to afford it and make my dream wedding come true! =)

The grounds are beautiful, there are peacocks wandering around, the BM's are super nice and the food at cocktail hour is awesome!

For me, Thatched Cottage encompassed everything FH and I wanted. It has outrageous food with more options than we could have ever dreamed of. The location is quaint and the outside cocktail hour on the water is breathtaking, especially at night. More importantly for us was that there is only one wedding at a time. We wanted it to feel like us. We are low key and not showy but love to have a good time....and that is Thatched! So we just knew!

As soon as we drove up the driveway FH & I sighed. We absolutely loved it right away! The entire feel of it. Once we walked into WM we fell in love! It was cozy, beautiful, ornate everything we were looking for. FH and I we wanted something that felt like us. We are traditional, homey, winter loving people and having fireplaces was a huge plus for us. We also loved the different rooms. Each room provided such a great feel for us and we are excited to have our CH in both the Conservatory and the Library. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!! Everything we tried at the tasting was to die for. Literally was the best food FH and I both have had in our lives. Lorena was our BM and she was such a doll. As you can see I love our RH!! ![]()

We automatically loved the grounds, and the room downstairs that has access to the outside was our selling point. Also the price was right for us for the day we wanted. Of course our BM was awesome, and he sold us when he took a patron shot with us LOL

Bridgeview is so beautiful. I was sold the second i saw the ballroom. Gorgeous high draped ceiling and tons of windows! There's only one wedding at a time and the price was right! After spending a week off from work to research, I was so happy when we walked into Bridgeview :)

The Bourne is haunted!! True story - hence why FH and I became obsessed. The original owners son drowned in the pool of the basement. There's a painted portrait of him that hangs over one of the fireplaces and if that portrait is removed, weeeeiiirrddd things start happening!
Besides the scary factor - we love how beautiful it is. Old, original wood, GIGANTIC and grand ballroom, and supposedly the food is amazing.

no waaaaaaaaaaaaay I had no idea. Where and when did you find this out hahaha a good friend of mine may be getting married there late next year, i'd love to tell him about it.
