We want to go on a cruise but I don't know which cruiseline is reliable especially with the whole rotavirus thing I keep hearing about. Any suggestions?

Princess is a great line! We travelled them once & found them to have the nicest staff & variety when it came to food selection & 'ship day' activities. We have also cruised Norweigan but it is a more Freestyle cruise. We were not that impressed with the line.

We love Norwegian because we can do what we want when we want. Princess and Carnival are on the same level for me now becasue they are owned by the same company, you just have different types on Princess (30 and up versus 18-30 on Carnival). And I am not a fan of Carnival. The best cruise line for me is Disney, it is not child-centered like you would think and they have great intineraries. Of course there are more kids.
All that being said, with all the choices out there you should focus more on the itineraries. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. For me, I don't think I could go wrong on any cruise line and most of them have so many precautions in place to prevent viruses from going around. We wanted to try Royal Caribbean for our honeymoon, but we ended up with Norwegian for a Meditteranean cruise. It fit better with our schedule.
