Receiving line Question

On the receiving line, do you hold your bo-k while people are kissing and hugging you hello or does someone hold it for you

I held mine. Not to sound mean, but my bouquet was kinda big where, it kept people back a bit. Meaning, they didn't grab me and smother me in their excitement!! My flowers were my shield from the old ladies that just love to hug and kiss you for an hour!!

I am doing the same thing. Going to either give it to someone to hold or put it down.

good point!

I 'd like to hold them, b/c you really don't get much of achance to hold them besides pictures & entering & leaving the ceremony.

Good Q. I think that I'm going to put mine down, or briefly pass them to someone. I want to greet people at a more personal level. Besides, I'm not scared of any of the old ladies.. I'm so much taller that they can't really reach me... lol.
