how do you find out about your results? I think they have it online now--- but do you need to stalk their website (like how we look for final grades) or will you get notified that they are posted?
i had my first nightmare about failing and i need to know if i have to stalk the bar examiners....lol. i know eventually it gets mailed to you and then of course it goes in the NY law journal.

In July... when I failed... I got an email telling me whether I passed or not.

The New York State Board of Law Examiners hereby notifies you that you did not pass the New York State bar examination held on July 27-28, 2010. An official notice is attached and will include a breakdown of your scores.
Applications for the February 2011 examination must be RECEIVED at the Board office by no later than November 30, for candidates who failed the July 2010 examination. There is no provision for late filing.
You may apply online using the On-Line Application. The link to the Online Application is located on the Board?s homepage at www.nybarexam.org. If you choose to re-apply online, payment must be made by Visa or MasterCard credit cards only; debit cards are not accepted. The application fee for U.S. educated JD graduates is $250 ($750 for foreign educated candidates under Section 520.6 of the Rules of the Court of Appeals).

YEah, it kinda ****** because I was at work just checking my email, la la la, and we weren't supposed to find out for another week so I wasn't expecting results to be out yet but the released them early because something happened where the results were 'accidentally' posted early for a day on their site... so they sent out the emails early and I was blindsided not thinking that that's what I was going to be reading... but the good part was it was like a band aid. I wasn't really expecting to have passed, I didn't have a good time on the test and I knew it.
But I'm sure you did fine and you have nothing to worry about!

i did hear about the mess up with releasing early. although i always heard its a little before the 'official time' they give u. i am only worried bc 1. i dunno what my job would do and 2. i cant take july (its the weekend of my bach party-- and too much going on with the wedding). so it would be a long wait.
