Recently Engaged!

Hi Ladies,

I am recently engaged to my high school sweetheart! We currently live in Atlanta, GA and since all of our family and most of our friends are in NY, we are planning to get married in NY! We will be in NY in early Feb to look at RH's but I will like an idea to narrow down some of RH's. Is it possible for anyone that has quotes for a saturday night spring/summer wedding 2011 to post here? Any quotes is appreciated!

How may people are you thinking will come? That can help narrow down your search and might help the lovely ladies on here give you a better sense of where to recommend.

Congrats and welcome!! I'd suggest looking through LIW's list of vendors. They give you a price range and lots of other important details about the place including people capacity, outdoor space, etc.

Congratulations!! Do you know what type of RH you are looking for (i.e. on the water, mansion, one wedding or multiple weddings/night)?

I used the following website because I was not on LIW at the time. It breaks RHs down by county and gives price ranges, min/max capacity, and the number of weddings held at the site per night.

Ok thank you for your help thus far! I wouldn't rule out on the water, because both my FH and I were born on Islands! But here is a list of halls that I briefly browsed at:

North Ritz Club
Sand Castle
The Metropolitan
The Swan Club
Chateau La Mer
Coral House
Crest Hollow Country Club
Woodbury Country Club

If there are similar RH's that you have been to you can also post their quotes, again thank you for your help!
