recep question

has anyone had a wedding at either meadow club or thatched cottage? Any info on both would be helpful, I love them both, HELP!!!!

I went to reception at the meadow club. We were in the large downstairs room. The only thing I didnt like was that I felt the tables were soooooooo close together. Once I was in my seat it was very hard to get up. Also, there may not have been enough bar tenders, because there was always a huge line for drinks.

i thought the room was ok since im only having 125 people, what did you think of the food? i saw it in the winter, what did it look like in summer? i was concerned that you can see the parking lot and stuff, guess im partial to places on the water

I am getting married at The Thatched Cottage next summer. The photos I saw of the place in the summer are stunning. We loved the food when we went to a tasting, and so far everyone there has been great. We went back this week to a small showcase to see a band. So far, so good!!!

The meadow club is great with the last wedding that i when to there. I even when there for my wedding but it was price did not go with me it was the same quote. That i had got when i when to east wind.

I am a Meadow Club Bride..... Everyone always raves about the food!! We are getting the large room, straight back when you walk in. We are having about 200 people ( hopefully less). I think it really depends on you and your budget. They have BEAUTIFUL Gardens on the right side before you come into their grounds. DId you see that?????

I love it there and I am so happy we picked it. I also worked with their wedding coordinator Ellen. SHe is really nice. I booked my DJ through her recommendation, Absolute Entertainement and we are also getting our video from them. You pay nothing for her services.

I went to a wedding-like christening there and it was really pretty.. the view of hte water (lake?) is spectacular.. The food was delish..

The Thatched Cottage is in Centerport on 25A. The prices can be well under $100pp on a Friday night with a guar. of 175. Fewer people, and I am sure the price goes up. I thought for the location and the food and the service, the price was excellent.
