Reception at Fox Hollow

i am having my reception on a sunday night at the fox hollow with the CH from 7:00 - 8:30. The reception ends at 12;30 AM .. i am little worried since it is a sunday night wedding & i do have some people traveling from NJ. Also, my parents are in their 70s & doubt they will last until 12:30.

My question is what time is cake usually served for sunday night weddings?? i guess they serve dinner at around 9:00 .. is 10:30 to early?? should i speak to the FH about maybe starting at 6:30 PM. i doubt they will if another wedding is going on or should i skip the extra half hour for the CH??

you can prob skip the extra half hour for CH if you are worried, or if RH cant change your time. i was at a wedding with a long CH and it kind of dragged a little bit. but of course...it's yhour decision. as a bride to be i can totally understand your reasons for wanting a longer CH.
