Reception Bands

Hi Everyone,
I am in desperate search for a good band for our wedding, one that will keep people dancing the entire night!!!
However, I have contacted New York Times Orchestra, Paris, and Code Blue and they are already booked for our date in '06. Can anyone give me some other good suggestions.

We are using Renegade too! They are great, and keep everyone dancing.

Try The Projekt, they are a sister band to Paris but they may be booked.

We are using Paris. Other bands that are good are:
Oasis, Phase 4, Projeck and Hank Lane.

DAN ZELLAN

Hi - we are considering using Dan Zellan of Hank Lane bands for our wedding, but I cant find any information about them. Yours is the only post mentioning them! And as you say, they sound great on CD but.... Were you able to find out anything on them? Has anyone used or seen them live? Thanks!

We are using Arcadia from LI Paramount. Saw most of the others mentioned here and ended up feeling like they were all great and the decision came down to money. The band was our splurge but we didn't want it to make us go way over budget. Arcadia and LI Paramount were the most willing to negotiate price. Arcadia is a smaller band 7 pieces instead of the 10 that we found to be the norm. And because we were concerned with space and price, Gus (band leader) has always been very helpful and approachable and was willing to negotiate the price and reduce the number of band members to 6 by eliminating the extra percussionist. Plus, They sound GREAT!! I can't wait for my day to hear them!! I would definately check them out at liparamount.com . Good Luck and keep us posted!!

I have only heard great things, and Paul is really nice. My brother, who is a musician and very picky scoped them out for me (I live far away) and HE approved. I did get to see them live myself and they are great.

Also, their prices are more than reasonable and they are VERY professional. It is one band, so who you see is who you get.
