Im trying to cut down costs on my invitations. I was wondering is it necessary to have a reception card?? Im getting married at my church and the reception is a different location. Can i just put all of the info on the invite??

Re: Reception Cards
Yes, you do not have to do Reception Cards. Actually, many people don't these days. I went nuts with mine so I have the reception cards..but it's definitely not necessary if you can't fit what you need on the main invite.

I didn't know what a reception card was until now. It's all going to be on the invite for me!

it depends on the size of invitation you use... if you can fit the reception info on the invite then i would do it... it will save you the cost of the card, and you can get the directions usually from the RH and stick that in...
im pretty sure thats what im doing

Re: Reception Cards
Sure you can. A lot of the paper in invitations are for appearance purposes anyway. If it will fit, go for it!

Re: Reception Cards
I didnt have reception cards...or 10 envelopes either. Just one envelope for the invite and one for the response. Simple and less-expensive

Re: Reception Cards
no you don't need them, as long as the information is on the invitation, it will be fine!
