Reception entrance song

Hey ladies...I was thinking about using 'you're so beautiful' by the Pat McGuire Band to have my bridal party enter into the reception room to..... for those of you that know the song, what do you think?? too slow? not good lyrics??

ahaha thanks, we haven't decided on it yet but i think it's very likely. Hey the singer has the same name as my Fi, gotta go with it lol

I say go with it- the bridal party can preceed you chanting 'Cobra Kai'! Get FH a headband to wear! This so totally rocks!

ahahaha that is histerical. Yeah alot of people will probably sing along, mostly our friends. I always sing that song, and I'll say 'youre the best' and everyone jumps in for the 'around' part. I was also thinking of 'eye of the tiger' i don't know why though lol.

Fi even suggest a system of a down song, I love them and got him into them but I could only imagine our families faces if they heard that.

Go to this site and listen to it in real player. it's only the first two minutes of the song but you'll get the idea. you should try to imagine it live because people go nuts when its played and start singing along. enjoy.

Go for it! Such a great song, I have seen them perform at the Copper Door Tavern a few times, they are great, and I love the song!

If that is what you want then go for it. Many people pick the opposite. Very upbeat and sometimes silly songs to come out to.

I have even been thinking about using 'youre the best' the karate kid theme song because the singer has the exact same name as my FI, and I had that on our myspace page for a while and it's just a stupid funny thing.

My friedn is using the Star Wars theme song and my BM used the Rocky theme song, she was going to wear boxing gloves, but they didn't. It does set the tone.
