Reception entrance song

It's a great song...

I went a completely different route. I thought about how I wanted to set the tone of the reception and picked entrance songs accordingly.

I think thats a great song for entrances. Although I'd definitely want to hear the whole thing at some point during the reception!!

If that is what you want then go for it. Many people pick the opposite. Very upbeat and sometimes silly songs to come out to.

I have even been thinking about using 'youre the best' the karate kid theme song because the singer has the exact same name as my FI, and I had that on our myspace page for a while and it's just a stupid funny thing.

Oh no no....the song she's talking about isn't the 'You're so beautiful' by Joe Cocker. Its an upbeat song.

I don't know why, but it reminds me of bars in the summer!!

I don't know what song she is talking about, but since she asked if we think it is too slow, that well it was a slow song lol.

No - the song she mentioned - 'You're so beautiful' by the Pat McGuire Band.

Its a fun beachy kind of song! The karate kid song is great too. I like the original touch of it!

Thats the other thing....I love dancing to the song.... but to play it again might seem redundant.....especially since I have 10 BMs....so by the time they ALL GET IN THE DOOR....it probably will be the whole song!!

I say go with it- the bridal party can preceed you chanting 'Cobra Kai'! Get FH a headband to wear! This so totally rocks!

Pat McGuire 'You're so Beautiful':

I love that song!! MY FH wants that to be our wedding song! I am not sure because some of the lyrics are a little dicey - 'lie in bed at night in your arms.... my thoughts of you are criminal' or at least I think those are the lyrics cos that's what it sounds like to me. FH is a pretty good dancer so he can handle himself with that song.

It's so fun and unbeat and perfect for a Bridal Party entrance and should definetely be played at any wedding!!

Play it. People are going to be clapping and dancing to it cos its just one of those songs!

Thats what I am probably playing as the entrance song for my BP!!

Thats me and my girls song....we get so excited when we hear it. It reminds us of all the drunken summer nights dancing around. I think its a perfect choice!!! I think all my ladies are beautiful, so its perfectly appropriate.
