Stewart Manor only has one event at a time. I don't know the web address but it should not be too hard to find with a search engine. We considered them but it would have been tight for our group.

We are having our wedding at the Stewart Manor CC (www.stewartmanor.com). They have only one event at a time. We only had to guarantee 100 but they said the room can accomodate over 200 (which I doubt). There`s also San Souci in Sea Cliff, The Port Jefferson Country Club, the Riviera in Massapequa and The Harbor Club (I think it`s just north of Huntington) only have one party at a time also. The Meadow Club in Port Jeff and the Thatched Cottage has 2 events but one wedding. I saw all of them except Harbor Club and they are all lovely. The day and time of year of your wedding can effect the the minimums you have to guarantee. Good Luck with your search!!

You should buy Long Island Weddings of Distinction magazine..very helpful!! some places I liked online were Sail Harbor, Carlyle on the Green, the Carltun on the Park. Have heard about Leonard's of Great Neck, Crest Hollow CC, Fox Hollow, westbury manor, swan club..oh thatched cottage!!

Ours is at the Port Jefferson Country Club. It's probably about half hour to 45 minutes away from Massapequa. They only have one wedding at a time. Friday night is a 100 min. and Saturday is 135 person min. The web page is www.portjeffcc.com

You may want to consider Fox Hollow. The prices we received from there were about the same as all the others but they put more into it and they have fresh flowers around all the time. We couldnt book there because our count was too big for one room yet too small for the other. Thatched Cottage is nice however they let us walk around DURING a wedding so Fi said NO WAY. We spoke to the sales woman who said they like to show how they do weddings and we understand but we were right behind the bride and groom walking down the stairs!! Sorry, maybe selfish but I dont want them bringing people into my wedding to see the place! But she said thats how they do it there. There are so many around though. We fell in love with the East Wind but thats in Wading River and I dont know if you want to go that far out.

I booked mine at the Swan Club. They have three events at a time but one is downstairs so it doesn`t get too crowded.

If you want a mansion all to yourself
Try the Desversky House (can`t spell it!) on Northern Blvd. in the Brookville area. It only holds about 130-150 and it is absolutely gorgeous. You and your husband get the entire mansion for the night. If I didn`t have such an enormous family I would`ve had my reception there!

If you want a mansion all to yourself
Also try Harrison House in Glen Cove. We're getting married there in 10 days.

If you want a mansion all to yourself--deSeversky Mansion
I`m getting married at deSeversky Mansion this October. You have the whole mansion and the grounds to yourself. You can actually have a 200 person wedding inside (not in a sit down format), and if you wanted to also use the outside with a tent, then you can have 250 guests. Hope this helps.Welcome New Vendors
