So FH and I just got engaged last week, but really want to start looking at reception halls.
We want to get married on a Friday in November, and were looking to spend around $100 - $110 pp after tax and gratuities (I guess thats like $80-$90 before all that?)
Anyone know offhand places in that price range that we should check out?

chateau la mer is in that price range, and if you do november it will be a little under $110 after taxes

sorry i didnt get any price for Novemeber but i am thinking that is def. possible you should check chateua La mer, Crest hollow, fox hollow, floral terrace ... i check all these places and all of them was less than that for a firday night wedding but again i didnt chek for nov.but i am thinking it cant be too much more that what i was quoted

Congrats! That should definitely be doable for a friday in November. I am getting married at fox hollow and I think the price for a friday in the summer was $85pp. I think November was eiter the same price or a little cheaper. Some other places that were about the same price were Swan Club, Westbury Manor, Crest Hollow and Woodbury Country Club. Good Luck with the planning.

Irish Coffee Pub is in that range and they give you lots of extras. They were super cool to work with.

It is. I went there 2 weeks ago and it's beautiful (even though it wasn't set up for any parties). I can easily see myself marrying there but I really need FI to jump on it fast before the dates in September or October are gone. Anyway I am also going back there tomorrow nite for the food tasting.

Swan Club had bread pirces!! and u can get the Fox Hollow on a Friday for about that! Good Luck!

yeah i think they stop the yacht arrival around end of sept maybe beginning of october...For april i remember them saying if it happens to be real nice outside they might do it.
