Reception Hall

Hi Ladies, the FH and I finally started looking at RH 2 weeks ago, I'm totally freaking out because i feel like its all so much to take in, im a stresser and im def. stressed . We have been to Giorgio's and Vineyard Caterers, I love Giorgio's but it is out of my budget! the Vineyards was nice, and i like it but i wanted to look at more. The next place is Smithtown Landing Country Club the price is GREAT and it is making me feel like its to good to be true? I was wondering if any of you girls have any input on the food there and how it look, etc.? Any help would be appreciated and hopefully ill feel less stressed

Hello and congrats on your search!! I haven't personally been there, but I would definitely post this on the Brides Helping Brides site- I'm sure there are tons of ladies who can give you great advice (and there's a lot more brides/brides to be there).

Congrats!! I went to a wedding there July 2010. The pictures were amazing and the staff was great. FH was in the bridal party and the staff was around all day and night if they needed anything. Food was good, not bad but nothing I raved about.

just went to wedding at the Vineyards. Aside from the drive to the end of the world, it was a fabulous wedding! everything was very nice

I went to Smithtown Landing and was totally disappointed. I don't want to veer you one way or another --everyone has different opinions.

Thats so exciting that we have the same date And thanks for your help everyone, I went to the East Wind last night and saw John he was amazing and it is now my favorite place so far, but the hunt continues!!!

Hi Congrats!@ Woo Hoo another 2013er!!!!!!!!! I never been there too but remember you have alot of time and plus there are so many RH to look at i would not stress yourself out yet ...its really alot to take in but once you find the place you will know...if you need anything we are here to help!!!

YAY another 2013...er!!! Good luck w RH shopping to me it was the hardest decision to make, but when i did find the hall I knew it as soon as i walked it! Happy planning and WELCOME!!
