Reception Hall for approx 100 people

Hi! I got engaged recently and am having trouble finding halls with a nice room for around 100 people...the fact that we're on a budget doesn't help much either. I would love to hear any suggestions!

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

george washington manor. They start at 68$ a person and go up from there depending on the day/time and the type of menu you want.

I am using the Vanderbilt masion. It is small. 125 people max. You can get it for a sunday at 100$ a person. I think.

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

Watermill has a room for smaller affairs...

I think the Milleridge does also....

Also try Thatched Cottage and Chateau La Mer.

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

There are a lot of places for that many people -

Swan Club
Fox Hollow
Westbury Manor
Chateau Briand
Meadow Club
Timberpoint CC
West Sayville CC
Smithtown Landing CC
Sans Souci
Milleridge Carriage House

Some of the others may have 100 minimum but usually for daytime weddings.

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

We are doing TimberPoint Sat. afternoon for 100. Sat. night was a higher minimum but I think Sun., Sat. afternoon, and Friday night were only 100....I believe Smithtown Landing and West Sayville Country Club were the same...

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

Try Ariana Waterfall. We're also on a budget. EVERYTHING is include in the package deal. The only thing not included are the bouquets. Four other brides from here are also getting married there. If you have any questions, FM me.

Welcome aboard!

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

we had SUCH a hard time finding something within a 30-40 min radius of our church for 100 people. we were considering a sunday afternoon wedding at the vanderbilt mansion, but in the end went with louis xvi for saturday night. there are pros and cons with every hall, but louis the xvi worked out best for us.

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

The Riviera is absolutely perfect for smaller weddings! The only other places I can say for sure are Milleridge and Washington Manor since I've been to both.

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

Huntington Townhouse i heard had good prices, but I think their rooms are small for 100 people.

I have what i believe to be a beautiful room at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. It is called the Emerald room. It has 2 walls of windows, and part of the celling has windows. I am a big window person. Anyway, that room can handle 200 people, but there is a section they cut off (you dont even realize it and it doesnt affect the windows) and it is great for 100 people. Also, staying out of May and June would be good.

We are doing a full wedding reception and cocktail hour for 67.50 a person for a Sunday afternoon in April. THat is not including all the taxes and thing related.

Re: Reception Hall for approx 100 people

The Watermill does have a small room. I did consider it but the dance floor is REALLY small... a small octagon. The room holds about 75 max. It's way too small for 100. We decided to get married there on a holiday weekend... Monday and they gave us the AStor Suite for a 100 person minimum and the price was right.
