Reception Hall for entire day?

Hi! My FH and I are looking for a reception hall that allows us to start in the afternoon (around 3:00) and then have the CH around 4 and Reception starting around 5. What venues allow for this timing or allows us to have the venue all day?

We want an outdoor ceremony and CH and would like it to be bright and sunny and we also want to serve dinner a little bit earlier.

I'm not sure, but I think Giorgio's does this. They call it a 'Twilight' wedding. But it takes place on a Sunday only.

If you do it on a friday or sunday, I think some places let you pick the time you choose to have it since they only do one wedding on those days. At least my hall does this. There's always Oheka Castle, but that place is crazy expensive.

many halls do only 'one wedding at a time'. if not, maybe a sunday wedding would allow for that timing.

we looked at a lot of places that let you do it on a Sunday... Woodlands, Royalton, Carltun, Carlyle

The Royalton lets you have the place for the entire day. You can even sleep there if you want. They have outdoor ceremony and cocktail, weather permiting

Oheka Castle is always one affair per day. That is the only place I know! Good luck!

Sand of Atlantic beach - one wedding at a time, and the whole back of it is a beachh

Floral Terrace- one wedding at a time too!

Old field Club - the place is yours for the day.

The back deck overlooks the water, and you can have both your cocktail hour and your ceremony outside (we are!! )

I second the Old Field Club-good call Bonnie. You can start any time you want-they only have one wedding a day!!!!

The Hamlet Country Club in Commack does the 'twilight' wedding on Sundays, the place is yours all day!

I had checked out the Watermill and since they didn't offer a cermony onsite on saturday nights, i asked them what other options I had. They said I could do the ceremony on site on sat night if i rented out the place for the entire day. They quoted me and it wasn't so bad (about 165pp)

I believe that deSeversky is also only 1 wedding per day
