Well I emailed my salesperson at Russo's and i was told to come in bcuz they cant negotiate via email or phone. later that night i got a follow-up call from there and when i mentioned JT and Leonards had given me better prices they asked me to come in with my notes and we could go over and see what can be done. i really hope i can bring them down enough! lol it will be hard to negotiate since i cannot have an off-season month wedding (Jan and Feb at Russo's). My father has Parkinsohn's and lives in the Caribbean because the cold weather makes him feel worse. So wish me luck folks! I'm not really good at negotiating but I will have to do my best this weekend!
Ask Russo's about having it on a holiday weekend like Memorial Day itself.....you just may get a great price.

i think being flexible with ur date is really a HUGE factor. i got a decent price at JT, but i also had a december wedding...DH & I also paid for our wedding ourselves and i have to say - JT was worth EVERY SINGLE penny. best of luck to u!

Our reception hall was Larkfield Manor and I can't say enough good things about it - - the owners and BM are terrific and go out of their way to make it the best day possible; staff is efficient; food is so yummy and oodles of it and it's a pretty place; renovated w/in the last 2 years including the gardens.

ITS BEEN DONE FOLKS! Russo's on the Bay it is. I went to see so many places this weekend but we just fell in love with Russo's (and the food) when we first saw it. I decided on a Sunday evening wedding and was able to get a price I could work with! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

We're booked at Jericho Terrace and wbecause we're 2 days after Christmas I was able to negotiate the min for the Dome Room and the vienesse course into our $pp. I probably should've asked for more..but I fell in lvoe with the Dome room adn so did the FH and they knew it...LOL.
It never hurts to ask what else they can do for you...so just ask.

i loved Westbury Manor and fox hollow. I have been to 2 wedding at Jericho Terrace. both were fantastic!!! And The sand castle is great also.

Did you try prices for Friday night or Sunday night? You can usually negogiate a better price on those nights. Westbury Manor is also a good deal, and very pretty
