reception hall on the water

Newly engaged! We are looking for a reception hall on Long Island on the water (preferably beach) for a decent-sized wedding (250 people). I've seen Bridgeview Yacht Club, the Riviera, Land's End and Danford on the Sound. Any thoughts, recommendations, suggestions, warning signs??? Thanks and congratulations to everyone!!!

actually chateau la mer can fit 300 max in the downstair room


The only reason I ask is because I had about 130 and we just fit comfortably.
