I need to keep looking at halls and I can't find the thread. . . .

So I went to visit 2 halls yesterday - and one of them quoted me VERY high and I was so surprised, because my friend went there looking for a wedding in July 08 and was quoted $18 cheaper pp
So I looked through that thread and apparently so were most people!!!
I called him up, told him what I saw (not using names or anything) and he came back with a number $20 CHEAPER PER HEAD!!
I must have had 'sucker' stamped on my forehead when I walked in there. ..glad I checked!!!

Under the planning on LIW it quotes a price from where I am *hoping* to make official...but the number on the planning page is $10 cheaper than I was quoted. Is this a seasonal thing (there was no range, just a number)?
Either way, we're going to negotiate.

I didn't call you out lol, but I told him I knew for SURE what someone was quoted, even after he told me that I might have misunderstood what people wrote on here LOL. I was like oh no- I know what I'm talking about.
He blamed it on my minimum being 5 people less than you lol.

It is totally a seasonal thing. . .its a day of the week thing, its a which BM you sit down with thing.
But I would def try to negotiate - try looking on here and seeing if you can find out what others were quoted and you might get a better idea!
