Reception Halls

Reception Halls

I haven't looked at any reception halls yet except for online. Can you tell me which ones only have one wedding at a time? Not sure if this is necessary but I was wondering.
Thanks!

Re: Reception Halls

anyone get any prices for 2009 yet? its so frustrating that most places either wont give you prices till you go there or they dont have 09 rates yet.

Chateau la mer was the only one who gave me prices....

In April the Friday is $70 and the Saturday is $80 per person. NOT TOO BAD!!!

Are you sure those are '09 prices. I emailed CLM and they have me a price of 85 for Saturday...and they said it is likely to go up 5 dollars for '09

The wedding sites and services website is a good resource.

There's also a reception catering hall guide on LIW:
http://www.liweddings.com/planning/location-guide.aspx

It was very important to us to be the only event, some of the halls we looked at were:

North Ritz Club
Flowerfield
Bourne Mansion
deSeversky
The Carltun

Re: Reception Halls

I loved the pictures I saw of Glen Island, but according to their page on Wedding Sites & Services, they will do 2 events at a time. I was kinda disappointed by that when I was doing my hall search!

Two places that we've been to and liked were;
Crescent Beach Club
The Metropolitan

Some other suggestions I thought of for you girls:
Roslyn Claremont Hotel
San Soucci
Lawrence Country Club
Sands Atlantic Beach
The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club

Happy Hunting!
