Reception Halls- Helppppppp

Hi Ladies,

Happy New Year! I have not been on here in a while and we finally decided on a season and date for our wedding! Yay, so excited.

I need help on reception halls for a spring wedding. We are looking to have a total of 85 people and need to know what halls are somewhat cheap in price and what the minimum is.

Ladies, please let me know what your minimum was the price the hall offered you.

Any advise would be helpful. So confused on what to look for and what the best price would be.

Thanks so much!

We have 70 people in our wedding and found it difficult to find a place to accomodate that number especially on a Saturday night, and also in a room that we loved and didn't feel like a 'side room.' We're booked at the Watermill in their 'Carnegie' room which I'm obsessed with. Also having a spring wedding and it's definately under $100 including taxes & gratuity.

We booked my Daughters wedding at Larkfield Manor in E. Northport.

She's getting married on a Sunday in October of 2011 in their Garden Room.

The price was one of the best of all the quotes we got and the minimum was only 85, plus they have been great to work with so far.

Flowerfield and Lands End have a promotion from January-March for $100 pp any night you want during those months. They are normally $160+ pp so it's a pretty good deal if the time of year isn't too important to you.

I had my wedding at West Sayville Country Club this past October. We had a total of 90 guests.
We had to guarantee 75 for Fri/Sun or 100 for Sat. We wanted a Sun wedding, so that worked for us.

Price wise, they were extremely affordable, under $75pp including taxes/grat.

Everyone raved about out wedding and we can not say a single bad thing about them.

The Miller Beach Surf Club is pretty nice, and they are reasonably priced. Their maximum is like 140, so I can't imagine the guarantee being too high. Miller Place Inn is really nice too, very pretty ...

Best of Luck!

lombardi's on the bay in patchogue, their minimum is 100 for a friday night in the summer...they might go down for an off season wedding in the spring.

Try the crestwood manor in northport. It was really beautiful but way too small for us (we're having at least 150) it was really pretty though
