Reception halls needed for a reasonable price - Where do you recommend?

My cousin is getting engaged soon and would like a winter wedding, in December of 2005. Where can you recommend between $50- $75 PP. Also, I believe it will be around 50 - 75 people.

TIA

I think the swan club, huntington townehouse, and the riviera are in that price range.

Try the Meadow Club too. I was told you can bargain with them.

I second the Riviera, it's in that price range, gorgeous in the winter, and will be perfect for a 50-75 person wedding.

What day of the week and time is she looking for? if you're flexible a lot of places fall into that category for a saturday or sundya afternoon or a friday eve.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I would say she would like a Saturday or Sunday, I am not sure about time of day. I will find out.

I say Sunset Harbour. It was wonderful there and the price is right. I couldn't have asked for a better hall.

I am getting married Dec 3rd 2005 and here are some prices that I got:(all for Sat nights)

Woodbury Country Club (who I booked and got the most for my money) was $80

Swan Club was $72
Rivera was $60
Stewart manor $60
Hamlet Windwatch $80
Chateu La Mer $ 75

Have her take a look at the Woodbury CC. The price they gave us was amazing and they offer so much to go along with it.

Timber Point should fit that price range and they decorate so beautifully for the holidays....I was married there in MArch and paid $53 pp before taxes. They are also one wedding at a time
