Hi! We just got engaged and ae looking for a reception hall on the beach...preferably in Nassau County. The Hamptons are to far! Any ideas?

Cheatau La Mer, (you arrive on a yacht, its right on the water)
Venetian Yacht Club
Gurneys Inn (on the water but dont think its in Nassau)
Surf Club and Glen Island Harbor Club are nice but in Westchester

I think the Sands Atlantic Beach is closing.

I think Gurney's Inn is in Montauk...even farther than the Hamptons! The Pavillion at Sunken Meadow is on the water (in Kings Park)...it's owned by Lessing's.
