Reception Place Ideas

Hi. My FI and I have after much debate and back and forth, decided to heck with everyone else, we are having the wedding we want. Because of this we are paying for it ourselves and are on a tight budget.

I have looked all the popular places (like Fox Hollow, Russo's, Coral House, Swan Club) but i would like ideas of other places that are not so, so popular. We are looking for off months and for no more than 135 people. Our Church is located in Queens off of Woodhaven Blvd or anywhere with 45 minutes would be great.

I also forgot. I has to be including tax anfd gratuity, UNDER $100 pp.

My two favorites, which you can get for under 100 pp including tax & grat. during in off month are Jericho Terrace and Chateau Briand.

I REALLY liked Holiday Inn in Plainview. I havent' really seen any brides use it, but its really nice: simple but elegant. They have one of those package deals, but it's not a tacky place at all.
Also, check out Knights of Columbus in Oceanside- I've heard nothing but good things.

we are getting our hall for under $100 pp, and its in Nassau county...If you are interested in getting married in the off months than you can definatly have a wedding on a Sat night for under $100. Take a look at Chateau Briand, the Sandcastly and Floral Terrace...they are reasonable and very nice places.
